Back to Yellow Trucks

After 6 very good days away from the stress and trials of yellow trucks its back to work tonight, luckily its a weekend shift and the normal chaos isn't quite so bad.

Slowish Start to the season for me but I haven't been out as much as in the past but with only 7 working days in the entire of August I hope to catch up.

Great fishing in great company

Back on the Avon today took 18 minutes for first barbel of the day

You guessed it " on the monkey"

Spent the last couple of days in the company of Paul Garner Monday it was a night on the Warks Avon which came good for us just before dark we slid the net under a big fish within seconds of each other Pauls went 11.06 and mine 11.04

Paul had 2 more eleven pounders during the night as well as 4 smaller barbel. I had 5 including fish up to 9lb more to complete a great session

All smiles for Lee

Lee hayes with one of plenty of barbel he has managed from the River Severn this week, when plenty are struggling Lee has managed to catch a few every day, the river is low and clear and fish have been hard to come by, all the same Lee has adapted well to the condtions and put a few on the bank.
