Home From Another Amazing Trip To India

Arrived back home safely from our trip to India, even better that last year, what an amazing trip.

The fishing was very good and I managed over 100 Mahseer to 35lb, the camp and food were of the highest standard, the scenery and company were even better.

I had to climb to the top of one of the nearby hills to get this shot of the Cauvery, 3 litres of water and an hour later the stunning view was well worth the effort

My wife Sonia managed to identify over 60 species of birds during the stay, as well as the many various animals that are to be seen close to the camp.

Here I am returning a large Mahseer to one of the pools above the camp.

Also joining me on the trip was Ken Scott who made a great fishing partner and was good company throughout the stay,

Thanks Ken!

Heres Ken with a Mahseer of around 15lb he managed fish up to 46lb (pictures to follow)

A very big THANK YOU to Angling Direct Holidays for arranging the holiday

Hi Ade!

Great pictures on your blog.

As you know, I was also at the fishing camp during your first week and agree with your comments about the food, etc... The curry in the evening was to die for. Real indian food, cooked by real indians... perfect after a 'hard' day's fishing.

The fishing was good as well. As you know, I'd never been there before, however, with help from our brilliant guide, Dave Plumber, and loads of very useful advise from yourself and Ken, I was able to catch a few.

So..... thanks for the help mate, the trip wouldn't have been as good as it was without your assistance.

Cheers mate,

Mark Nicolaides
